This is the last hawk I have in my order book, a Cassam Tactical Hawk in black canvas micarta. We will have to see if anymore hawks get ordered, or if they will become history.

Ooh, I never saw that one John. I need a little more info.

Never mind I found it.

That would make one heck of a swan song for the hawks but I sincerely hope it's not.

Oh man dont discontinue this one John love this hawk i need to sell some stuff and order one!

I for one hope they are not discontinued. I hope to be able to buy one some day soon.

I you continue to offer them in limited quantities per month I would most likely snag a belt hawk sometime in the next year

Man, I've been drooling looking at these since I first started lurking around these parts, but havn't been able to justify pulling the trigger on one. If you disco this one, would it still be possible to get one made in the future as a special order? Extended lead time of course would be understandable due to material aquisitions etc.

Looking at this one I'm thinking, wow, that's a pretty good size chunk of steel you got to start cutting and grinding on to make one of these!

I did not mean I was going to discontinue them, just that they would fade off into history, like a dinasaur.

whewww :o I thought you meant you were done doing hawks. The cassam hawk never really caught my eye. It's a little too tactical for my taste.

The Belt Hawk has been improved. Instead of a 4" front to back head, I now do it 4 1/2", seems to give it better balance.

John's numbers will be more reliable (especially since he has modded the pattern!) but my belt hawk happens to be int eh same room with me and a tape measure. Seems to be pretty close to a foot (12") from top to bottom.

Thanks KYenglish! That is a little smaller than I anticipated...but as a Belt Hawk that seems to make sense now. Looks to me like it would be just big enough to be usefull, yet carry easy and not take up too much room in a gear bag...

That is just about right, it's build and strength make it more then it's dimensions as well, i think. If your thinking about it and on the fence I think I could ship it to you to try out?

A most generous offer! I may just take you up on that, but it would have to be in a couple of weeks from now.
Thanks!
