This is it. If you are coming and you want directions on how to get there, I need to know, so I can email you the way to Ethan's.

Let me know if you are coming, and please, don't post if you are not coming to the Gathering.

I will be there, heading out early fri. morning. that is when, when I get directions !!! I know its close to our october camp !!!! cant wait to you.
 
Moose, will drinking water be available or should we plan on packing it in.
 
I would like to come, but just for the day on Saturday.....are spouses and dogs allowed?

or is this just for the actual 100 BeckerHeads?

Ethan has a water tank that he said we was going to drag up there, but not sure if it will be potable. There are a few springs in the area, I was just going to bring my MSR filter and make my own. Might want to bring some with ya, there may be enough pumps to suppliment.

Bring'em along, I don't see a problem. Just don't let he 4 legger crap in camp. Or, the two leggers either. :D

ok, now I am embarrassed that I had the location wrong on this.....I swear I read in a thread someplace on here that there was going to be some sort of get together an hour outside of Buffalo and Rochester NY

when Moose wrote "are you coming all the way from Buffalo" I was like..........ok, gas IS $4 a gallon, but an hour drive isnt really "all that way"....lol

please delete me from the TN guest list and I apologize for the confusion
 
Don't worry about potable water.....We got plenty..........I scored a 275 gal water tank on a skid that will fit on my 4 wheel wagon sooo plenty of wash up water......

I plan on going next door and borrowing a bunch of fairly large bamboo for projects and we will probably sacrifice a medium size poplar for crafty stuff....poplar is my usual "go to" as it is so maleable and is so fecund and prolific in this area......We gots river cane too.....Really looking forward to the get together......Do we want to do a chili on sat night?????

Honestly, whatever you feel like cooking, I am down for. One thing that I am looking forward to is seeing a world class chef at work in the bush. In another life I had briefly considered culinary school, and while I no longer have any aspirations for it, I still love cooking, almost as much as I love eating. :D
 
Campfire, knives, fellowship, and Ethan Becker's chili.....this will be no fun at all.

Awesome, I had a craving for some homemade jerky last night, after our chat. This is shaping up to be awesome. :D

Hell, I'm packed. I tested out my new hammock today, got it squared away, and then thought, "I'm going to go ahead and pack my other stuff."
Just have to toss my pad and bag onto my Falcon II and shoot some clothes and toiletries in there. All the other gear is ready to ride.
 
I'm packing up my gear as well. I'll get there around 6:30pm. See ya'll there.
