Ok, of late I have seen many of the newbies wanting information on Buck Knives.
Many ask why this was or why not this...
or does ANY one know the reason for this.
This line of inquiry goes from simple- where is the pin to-I want so did they make this...
Many hear of obscure one off's and desire information as to that mystery knife
Many want to know if there is one they are missing to complete a collection.
I, my self have gone through this many times, sick in mind and heart with Buck Knife fever and a burning desire for more Buck Knife knowledge.
One year I went to the best source I could think of to ask for things and asked for a book of information for my self and here is what I got back:
Dearest Dave,
I have been watching you and also over heard your wife saying that you have been a good man this last year. I am much afraid that I can only provide you with a Buck Knife once a year. I have left most of the other things on your list and this letter is concerning the only one I can not find.
Re: Concerning the Gospel and Final Word to collecting and dating those Buck Knives you so dearly love and want to put in order
It TRULY seems that there is NO Final Word on Marking & Dating and what was made when and why on the nice things that have come from those incorrigible boys and girls at Buck.
{Note I checked with Father Time and he said there was nothing in the Time Past Vault and the New Year Baby only giggles over what is coming and wont say a word} .
I hope you continue to be a good fellow and continue to try to be kind to others and not piss any one off esp your wife as she and all other wives have direct lines to my list making elves

PS: I missed them but maybe you could check with Uncle Sam or Davy Jones. Other wise your best bet since Vern has gone home is to gather every bit of information you come across your self.
PSS: Humm let me know if you find out anything as that seems to come up often on my request list and I can use the information also!!!
