Finally, a CQC-7!

Finally got my CQC-7 in Stonewash yesterday. Fresh 2010 batch straight from the factory. My first impression is how well everything is put together, and how stout and solid it is. It's funny it smells like electronics due to the G-10 and what ever material that black spacer is. Anyone know what that's made of?

Also, Are both liners Titanium? On the Emerson website it states 1 liner is stainless steel. I put a magnet to both liners and both are non magnetic. But this is inconclusive since some stainless steels are non-magnetic. Anyone?

I love my CQC-7. I carry it all the time. Stout. This is Ernie's best known tactical folder, and the father of all tacticals. The spacer is G-10. The liner on the non-lock side is stainless steel. You picked a true classic that will never let you down. Use in good health!
 
I love that fresh Emerson smell. If Ernie can make a cologne, I'd gladly apply it every day.
