Finally a GREAT DAY in the shop

After all the crying I have done here I thought that you guys would like to here some positives from me.
I was able to work all day in the shop and the bad luck fairy didn't show up and I hope I have finally kicked mr.Murphy out for a long time.All the new wiring worked out great,The new fans have cooled the smithy down allot and the exaust fan keeps the dust to a tolerable level,I found a giant fan at the scrap yard (40 inches across the blades,from one end to the other endacross the whole face of the fan)and so I put it in the wall at the end of the smithy and boy does it suck the heat out.
Now maybe I can start getting some work done,and since i have recieved a couple of new orders in the last couple of weeks maybe I can start paying those bill collecters and then start answering the phone without cringing again.
This has been a really great day for me,so thanks to everybody for the prayers and well wishes.

Way to hang in there bruce.
I will pass on one piece of advice the other half gave me (Again)TODAY.
Start saving at least 15% of your gross sales before you pay anybody else.
Remember you are the most important employee you have:D
Had I actually used her advice I would be in much better shape myself...
I started today and plan to stick with it.

Remember perseverance pays off
 
Bruce, Its good to hear you are back on track and with some improvements to the smithy will make it nice for working. Ive missed the pictures lately you normally post. Maybe we will get to see some soon?

Thanks guys,It sure feels great to get things back on track...Yes I am also going to start putting some money back for myself out of every knife I sale.I have been being told to do this for a long time.Only I was told that I needed to keep out 40% from each knife as shop expensens and to be kept for getting supplies and equipment for the shop,and also to be able to afford to goes to shows.I thought that this was a little high but now the more I look at it the more I see that if I had I could have made it through the lean times allot easier.

Glad to hear you had a good day! The fan sounds great. I am looking at doing something similiar in my shop to cool it down and remove debris in the air.
