So I've owned quite a few of Chris Reeve's knives over the years... My first "high-end" folder was a lefty Umnumzaan (I'm a lefty), and I've owned every folder they've made at least once since then. Currently I have a Mnandi with Cocobolo handles and Raindrop Damascus that's part of a matching set (my Dad has a righty) that we bought at Bladeshow 2014. That's a keeper, but other then that I've cycled through various Sebenza 21's, 25's, Umnumzaans, Ti-Locks and what not...

Well, a few weeks ago a buddy of mine sent me a screenshot of a knife he was being offered in a trade... and I about lost it... You don't see many of these, and not long after he received it he was trading it to pay for a custom order... Behold:

You don't see many of these, and the finishing work is excellent (as you'd expect.) I love the polished satin blade, and the large wood inlay...

The decorated backspacer is a really, really nice touch as well...

But the real show-stopper is the wood inlay... It's beautiful snakewood... *sigh*, I love it.

I do have one question for all you CRK-heads out there, any idea what steel this has? I'm guessing either S30V, or ATS-34? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

That is stunning, congratulations on a rare find. I'm always looking for a LH Annual.
There's a stickie at the top of the forum with the steel time line. According to it, your Annual is S30V.

Wow nice score! Is that a large or a small?
As for the steel, it is from 2003 so that would make it s30v.

Beautiful piece! As what I've said in FB and IG.. Congrats again... Annuals are the best ever...

I traded that knife, owned it for several years and never carried it. The backspacer didn't come with the knife it came with a plain regular and I put it on that knife. Larry
