Finally/Actually bought A Liner Lock!!! 🤨

Or maybe even an OTF!
Only if I win the Power Ball Lottery Grand Prize ... solo ...
I don't buy the tickets. However, my odds of winning are as good as those who do. Might even have better odds, since I'm already "ahead" by whatever they've spent on tickets. 😁👍

Seriously though, if I ever need an auto, I'll get an out the side, perhaps something like grandpa (1911-1963) had. Small ~3.5" closed 2 blade pen knife with a blade pivoted on each end. I believe his was a pre- 1933 Schrade or Hammer Brand. I was told by his eldest son, (1933-2015) that his "dad carried that knife before I was born. I think his dad (passed in the late 20's) gave it to him."
I was young (8yo) when grandpa passed. I remember it had 2 blades, a release button and slide safety on each side, and white covers. I know that he followed the family tradition of taking his favorite pocket knife, pen (and bottle of his most used ink) with him when he was planted.

To be honest though, I'm far more likely to just start carrying a fixed blade. My 1980 Western L66, or a Mora N°1, or CS FINN BEAR.

I am a life long cheap Mommy F*'r (just not my own. I did have kids ... so did all my girlfriends, come to that ...) S.O.B. Bas*ard, after all. 😁
(according to her parents, siblings, and her grandparents, my mum was a B* long before I was born. Also, it weren't my fault she and her then boyfriend was ..."feeling frisky" ... and did something about it (sans "rain coat") before getting wedded. She never did marry him ... she did marry his oldest brother (who i will always consider my dad) when I was 1.5 yo, tho. They divorced when I was 11. She got remarried to someone else soon after.)

Let's all toss in the price of a lottery ticket and if the forum members win we can split up the pot and buy the knife we always dreamed of owning. Deal? I'm getting a Bob Loveless knife.

Maybe even a pocket clip too! 😁
ONLY if it is removable, they include screws to plug all the empty bolster holes, it has a lanyard hole for a neck lanyard (like used for ID cards at some factory, warehouse, loading dock, and office jobs).
My experience with pocket clips has been they cause hot spots during extended use, and depending on the size of the knife, they cause the knife to poke one in the thigh when seated ... until the pocket clip is pushed clear of the pocket, and the knife either falls in the bottom of the pocket horizontally, where it belongs, or hits the ground, where it don't belong.

(So you are aware: When you get old, the "THEM"/"THEY" lower the ground, making it much more difficult to reach something you dropped or find something "worth" picking up on the ground ... also your toes ... low top sneekers and loafer shoe laces ...🤨☹️)
