After having had to fight with some problems (destroyed cheap belt grinder, buying a new one, girlfriend complaining about me not having enough time for her...)i finally managed to finish something new again. :D

9,5" D2, 59-60 HRC, 600grit hand rub finish (hate this), olive wood handle, experimental filework.
Very slim and lightweight compared to my other knives.
Now i have to find someone make a leather sheath for it, because i don't think kydex would look very good on this one.

I made exaclty the same knife before, but that one together with 2 other blades in D2 an RWL34 had been stolen on its way back from heat treat. I am still waiting for my money from the parcel service...

Very nice work!

As for the girlfriend: marry her. Soon, she will be happy you are at home in the shop, and not out "with the boys" at the local tavern! :)

Wow!

Love the shape in the plunge with the choil and finger groove. Comes together nicely.

Say that filework pattern is really attactive. I've gotta learn that - it really makes that knife for me.

Looks great -- a functional knife with some class. Anymore pics of that filework?

Thanks a lot for the kind words!!! This is the best motivation to go on. :D

I will have to make a proper shot of the filework and upload it tonight.
