I have never been so happy to get back to the shop. After being snowed in for three day (seemed like months) the snow emergency was downgraded and it is now legal to drive again. I was losing my mind. I am not designed to stay home and not be able to leave. I love and adore my children like nothing else on earth but OMG I was ready to get away for a few hours. It was nice enough today that they could go outside for a bit as well and I think they were just as tired of being locked in the house as I was. When you are used to being at work 12-14 hours a day and then you cant go you really just dont know what to do with yourself. Anybody else realize that there is nothing on TV worth watching. I am just not designed to sit around and do nothing. I actually bundled up three different times yesterday just to go check the mail.

Hopefully the worst is behind us and things will start to get back to normal. Just gonna take a few days to catch up on stuff

Oh yeah, to all of the stay at home dads out there, Props to you. I realized very quickly that I couldnt do it. Made me appreciate my wife even more. Of course I told her that and now I owe her a fancy dinner out as soon as the roads clear up enough for casual driving. I guess she earned it.

Glad your back too Garth!
I can relate.....

And for the Deer Hunters....

Good deal.

In order to help you guys catch up, don't worry about polishing those Basic 8's. Just slap some Res-C on them and send them out with their competition finish. :D

And for the Deer Hunters....

The short end of that temperature gauge is pointing towards what I am used to! I haven't see negative temps since I left Missouri many years ago, don't miss it one darned bit!

That deer pic is a hoot! :D

we had snow all day here :)
Glad it is better for you buddy.

I'm glad that things cleared up a bit and you were able to return to work Garth. Now, about those B-8's.....................:D

Nothing worse than when cabin fever sets in, and you just can't escape it. Glad to hear the Busse crew is back at it. :D

One more reason why I left Alaska....I'm with you on the cabin fever I had to force myself to go check my trap line....:D

Glad you all made it through okay!!!

I knew you made it back to the shop when I got a CC receipt for my ASHBM LE this morning! <OINK!!> :pig: :D

Congrats evltcat. I enjoyed the time at home. It was being trapped inside for that long that was killing me.

Glad you all made it thru the snowstorm safely. The only time we have a whether related day off is when we have a hurricane.
