After the looooooooooooooong wait for the BF Native, it has finally arrived!!!
So did my BF Sheath! Cool!
What can I say? It's probably the smoothest operating knife that I have (and I have quite a bit here), which amazes me, since it's a lockback, and most of my lockbacks are rather tough to open unlike the BF Native.
The handles are grippy, the blue color is okay. There is a drip spot on my blue clip though, but it's all cosmetic.
The only thing I didn't like about it is the fact that the cutout for accessing the hole isn't enough. The hole is showing only 3/4 of itself. I had to use the very tip of my thumb to open it.
The blade is... well... SHARP! I was tempted to sharpen it even more, but I think I'll wait until it dulls out first (which can be pretty long, because I intend to display it only). It's a bit hard to wipe though, because of the BFC markings, which I fear I might rub off if I wipe too hard.
The STARMATE came almost the same time as the BF Native. It's one knife which I think I'll keep for a long time.
It's #673 (I was asking for #666 but apparently, someone got it first) I will be testing it and the new Military that arrived a day after, to duplicate my testing of the first Military.
3 CPM440V bladed knives in 2 days... NOT BAD!
