I bought a Southard from Amazon....Sal said in another post that they are not counterfeits if Sold and Fulfilled by Amazon. Anyhow, the first one had a bad grind on the side of the blade near the edge. I tried to get a proper image, but could not. It was very obvious just with table lamps etc., almost like a divot. Anyhow, the replacement I just got is flawless.

Great knife and flips like crazy. I have a few other of their Taiwan made knives and was surprised the first blade past QC. I would of tagged it a blem.....

I want a black southard. Worth the $250 plus for sure? Quite a bit more than I'm used to spending on a knife.

$250 was a stretch for me....and when I first got it, I could not see why it was so much more then a Bradley. After playing with it for a day, it might just be my favorite Spyderco....but not for EDC. I will carry it from time to time, but I would rather loose or destroy an Endura then a Southard.
