My old camera was a piece of junk that I inherited from my mother when she bought herself a new one several years ago. It was the first generation EasyShare made by Kodak. Every once in a blue moon the thing would actually take a decent picture, but most of the time they came out like dookie. Here is an example of the old camera's picture quality...

What pushed me over the edge was looking through the pictures after i got home from Vegas yesterday. I went there for the USN Show. What would have been some great pictures with a decent camera came out like this...

What really pissed me off was that my celebrity pictures sucked.

Well that was the breaking point for me. I was extremely upset at how crappy all my pictures from this weekend came out so I did some research and went around all day yesterday checking cameras out in person until I found the one I wanted. This new camera of mine is amazing. Now my picture quality looks like this...

These are a bunch of random pictures I took today. I read all about the adjustments and messed with everything until I mastered the camera. Most of these were taken while I was sitting in my chair on my porch. A lot of them are of branhces and flowers in the tree that is about 30ft away from my porch. I am extremely impressed with this camera.

I love my new camera!

Believe it or not, it's not very expensive at all. I bought it brand spanken new for $100. It was originally over 2 bills, but I found it on sale at Target. It's the Kodak Z915. It's not a serious big boy camera, but it has A LOT of manual control which I wanted. I like to be able to tweak everything just the way I want it. I looked at cameras all across the price range from $50-$500 and this is the one I chose because it gives the best results, not because it was inexpensive. I took it out last night for some night time pictures and the thing is amazing.

Looking good. Bring it over.

Nice pics. Having a good lens and lots of manual control really helps.

Lol, this is why I have multiple photobucket accounts. I paid for one at first and then just decided to go for multiple free ones :)

what kind of sog is that up top? pentagon?

That's the new version of the NW Ranger with the plain edge, one of my favorite knives of theirs. I did a review of it a while back and it's a damn good knife for the money.
