Had a fun time camping a few weeks back and while sitting around chasing shade from the sun, I decided to tackle a project that I have always wanted to try. Found a donor piece of wood in the firewood stack and went to work with my little knife :) The only tool used was the knife in the pic. I think it turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself. Next time out I may try for something larger like possibly a bowl to match but that will get burnt out I think.
 
Nice work! I really dig that scandi!! The palm swells look very appropriate. I wish more folks made scandis.
