After struggling with the marking of the blades we finally have met with success. As I've mentioned before we have four KBs and other duplications so we have initiated a symbol system. Star, moon, khukuri, cross, etc. which represent each individual kami. If we get a visiting kami the blade will not be marked.

I'll post symbols and correlation when I return.

Finally, success!

Uncle we all know that you are gonna be sufferin' from jet lag when y'all get back.
Don't try to do everything all in one day!!
Rest up for a couple of days. Rusty is and has done a wonderful job and your posts have kept us up to date with enough new stuff to keep us all excited 'till you get settled in again.

Better yet, take time off *regularly* starting a couple or three weeks from the time you get back.

Think of the time off as your duty to the people who rely on you both in Nepal and here, to keep yourself fit in several ways.

I, for one, am really happy about the kamis now marking their blades. Thank you for making this happen, Uncle Bill.

Now, on to another subject. Uncle, I agree with Rusty 100 percent -- you need to allow yourself a little time off on a regular basis. You need to do this because (believe it or not) you're not getting any younger. We forumites want you around for a long time, so please take better care of yourself. Believe it or not, we would survive an occasional weekend without your forum posts -- painful though it may be.

And honestly, Uncle Bill...take it easy with the roll-your-owns. Some regular vacation time should help with that, too.

What a wonderful idea! I'm looking forward to putting a face to the Khukuri.
Uncle, with all you are doing, please take some time to R&R.
