It's 14'' 1/8 stock, I used a friend of my dads plama cutter to cut out a few axes, and this was the first one I finished. Plasma cutters are amazing tools btw for anyone not famaliar with them. I had never even used an oxy acetelyne torch, and I managed all the curves freehand pretty well. I did however make one of the grooves too deep and had to match the rest, so it torques in the hand a little.:jerkit: I wrapped 30-40 feet of para cord around the lower half, and now I need to think about a sheath.
I burned out a few bits drilling the lanyard hole, so I knew it was way too hard for an axe, but I over softened it I think. The whole thing was a learning experience, and I have 3 more axes to work on,

The middle one is obviously an RMJ forge knock off, I just really like the design, but I would rather have a thinner, lighter version. I dont intend to cut into cars or break cinder block with these, but I think they should still stand up to some abuse. The norse one I was hoping to be ready for a big budget hollywood viking movie filming in Halifax, NS, my brother works in the studio where a lot of props are being made, and hes an extra, so maybe he could have used it. Think its too late though, anyway, hope you like the designs guys.

Sorry to bump an old thread but how do you like that Cold steel Bushman? I was thinking about getting one.

I like it a lot. If you need further convincing, look for bushman testing in youtube.com, A guy abuses one for the better part of an hour before it finally breaks. (there are a few threads over in reviews and testing about it all) The best value for the money by far, and sharp as the dickens.
1 thing I really like is you can put it on a stick and you have a great spear for bringing down the grizzley towering over you!

Haha alright I asked in wilderness survival forum too sounds like they all liked it. I'll have to order one sometime soon.
