Finally finished another knife

I forged the blade out August of last year. Been trying to work on it here and there while doing hawks. 7 months in the making. Thats got to be some kind of record,the fastest I have finished a knife in several years.:)

Forged from an old cultivator tooth. Handle is black locust. Pieces of iron from the same old plow frame that the tooth came off for the fittings. Lightly aged.

Nice complimentary use of materials. It looks old and rustic but with refined lines and clean execution. Almost paradoxical and it keeps me studying it. (and admiring)
Well done.. I like it very much.
