Finally finished one,about half blind,but finished

Well guys I said I was working on a cool Bowie,Here it is.Now remember I am still not all the way up to snuff and am working about half blind most of the time.Have to use my jewlers loops just to see the bench.No laughing now:D

I tried something new with the carving ( dont do this when you cant see well,got headachs everyday,plus it isnt perfect to me.First attempt anyway)

6 1/2 inch blade of forged 5160 satin hand rub at 800 grit
N/S ferrule on riccasso,also the N/S guard is hand carved.
steel frame in handle with 6 blind pins and 2 SS pins showing
Curly maple handle handle dyed black and stabilized plus carved by hand with a rotory tool.handle is 4.5 inches long.

HOW DO I ATTACH THE PICS FROM MY COMP.I uploaded them,HELP!!!!!

Where did you upload them to exactly?
If you uploaded them to a photobucket account or something, just find the images URL. By right clicking the pic and selecting "view image".
Then copy and paste the url between these two marks like such

That is one beautiful knife. That guard is spectacular. What did you use to dye the handle with? :thumbup:

Thanks Guys...She isnt all perfect,but the best I can do at this time.Next one will be better I hope.Been having trouble with my modem,put a new one in but having trouble still,think it is my server,will be calling them tomorow.
Yes Bob those are the pictures.

I was trying to load them on my post straight from the computer like we used to,but loaded them in the attach but some how didnt get the attachment to work.If I could have gotten the computer back up a while ago I would have just pulled them off the web site.Oh well something new to learn.

Bruce, Long time comming but looks like your back on track! Reminds me of when you were making one like that every week or so. Thats got to make you feel good. Hope to see even more!
