Well I'm not proud of it at all. I made ALOT of beginner mistakes. And then a few more. I got some cleaning up to do and put some Danish oil on it. Probably gonna make a sheath.
First pin is too far forward, grinds are not the greatest, handle (scrap walnut) has voids. List goes on but I finally finished it. On to the next one. Man I need a drill press lol

It's .128 80crv2 from AKS. Tight at 7.5 in OAL.

First of many....at least you pushed through and finished so you can see where you need to concentrate your efforts on the next one...

Thanks for the encouraging words everyone. Learned alot and plan on moving forward. I'll hopefully have the sheath done today and will post pics of everything finished.
Sharpened it and in the words of Doug from forged in fire "it will cut"

I make some of my knives with the front of the handle set half way in the finger choil like that. I personally like it on some knives. Including yours.

Valnut finished one. What's next? democrats and republicans working together???

- Just busting your chops. keep it up.
