View attachment 242228. I have finally finished a knife. Thanks to design inspiration from johnnymac and the piles of knowledge I've gained from everyone on this forum.
The blade is 1084 all hand filed and finished. Heat treated myself. Handles are black and red g10 (not quite finished). I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and of course I already have another in the works that should be done in the next few weeks time allowing

I think you did a great job! Very nice interpretation. Grind looks nice and even, and I'm glad you decided to give the swedge a try. I like it, and am looking forward to seeing more from you!

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Still need to sharpen it. Planning on doing a convex edge with my 1x30 grinder and I'm also pretty pumped to start making sheaths. I think I enjoy this hobby because there is so many facets its hard to get bored.
 
Excellent job for, especially for a first knife. Only thing I would change is maybe make the swell in the front of the handle a little smaller.
