I went through a real learning curve on making this case that is why I havent posted anything in awhile...

The customer will be getting more pictures soon.

Thanks again for looking,
Bruce

Holy schmoly - now that's what I call a complete set! I would love a closer look at the knife and sheath - if you have any larger pics, please post them. Very impressive, Bruce - a happy customer is pretty much guaranteed.

Exactly what I was thinking. The only thing that would add to the set would be a nice pristine "pre war" Commercial Colt 1911-A1.

My favorite is the 1911 but maybe for this beutiful piece a nice single action colt with grips to match would fit the bill better for this classy package

Wow..Id love a Library shelf lined with cases like that..Fantastic Looking knife

Close ups to come :D
I do have one of the tri-hone.

I took these on my workbench with less than optimal lighting.
But y'all get the idea.
:D

The throat and tip sheath is lined with kydex and very thin.
The knife balances on the guard and floats in your hand.
This is one of those knives that you have to pick up when you walk by it...and then it is just hard to put down.

Bruce and I picked a Rose Bowie from Flayderman's bowie book and he worked from the photo. Not tracing and measuring, but looking and following the style.
His interpetation, not a reproduction.
I'll be sure to take a shot with the knife and the page of Flayderman's book.

I am one happy camper.

I will bring this to ECCKS on Saturday if anyone wants a close up look.
Just look for the guy with the ponytail and heavy bag ;)

I love sets and multi piece creations like this and Larry Fuegen's bowie/sheath/spurs sets.
Quite an accomplishment Bruce to day the least.

Congrats, Bruce. Absolutely a winner. Work towards this end often.

Ebbtide: Great input and very clear photos. You know quality and pursue it on every front! :)
