Well after a few battles with this smaller knife I finally got it finished and ready to make the full metal sheath. It has a 4 1/2 inch blade forged from round rod 5160,I hand rubbed the blade to 2500 grit paper then litely buffed with scratchless pick compound, this gave it a mirror polished rubbed finish (I know some don't like mirror finishes but the originals were done that way and I was trying to keep it like the original)It has a N/S guard and sterling silver ferrule with a floral and vine bezeling. The handle is water buffalo horn that I carved in the style of a Will and Fink style Dagger from Old San Fransisco.

Donna thought all us Red Neck country boys would like the Dixie (Rebel) Flag Bikini...

Any and all comments would be greatly apriceated,I have been really working on the Blades as this was what I was told was what I needed more work on for my Master judging (and 2 years isn't that long)

Bruce You pulled out all the stops on this one! Its a head turner! Ive heard that buffalo horn is one of the hardest of all the handle materials to carve well. It looks as though you nailed it the first time. Very Cool knife my friend

Donna You look georgous in those pictures:)

Bruce, Now I know what was taking you so long. I just can't see you holding on to this one for two years. Got to admit you've got a heck of alot of patients to do a knife like this. Well done!

That's just beautiful Bruce. I don't think you have to worry about your Masters!

Now there's buffalo used to it's fullest. Wow.

I'm glag you'll be hanging on to it for at least 2 years. That's knife I want to see in person! I'm sure the pic doesn't so justice to that ferrule.

That is the best knife I have ever seen from you Bruce. I have been following your work for a long time, and am a fan, but this one is a show stopper!!!!!

Bruce that sure has all the right moves! I love the hancle and the blade shape; everything is just perfectly balanced. Dang man, that's what we're all trying to do and you make it look natural. Thanks for sharing, and tell Donna she sure adds class to your photos! :D

Sweet Bruce. The handle and fittings are beautiful. The blade looks great. Very clean. I've done that style finish before and it is very cool. I don't think two years will be any problem for you. That's just great.

Thanks everybody..No I won't be holding onto this one as it is a order and the customer can't wait to get it.
I believe that carving this was harder than the other Price styles I have done (I was told by others that it was also)

Donna loves Rebels and when I saw this Bikini new she had to have it.I think she looks great in it myself (she still thiks she looks fat:rolleyes: )

Again thanks everybody, glad you like it all the great comments make all the fussing with it worth while.
