Ive been wanting an HK P7 forever. I was able to shoot one many years back when the PSP models came over and fell in love with the pistol. I have shot and owned many 9mms over the years, probably about everything out there. My 9mm are for carry and the CZ 75 compact has been on my side since day one. Nothing else has ever been able to take its spot...until the P7. For me, its just as accurate as the CZ, easier to carry, and built like a tank. I tried to get one awhile back but the deal fell through. I was looking over a local gun forum and saw one up for sale for 700.00. This a very good deal for a grade A gun with 3 mags, case, cleaning tool, and takedown tool. I couldn't pass it up!
The manual of arms will take a little getting used to but how cool is the squeeze cocker! Im thinking a nice set of Nill Walnut grips will really set this thing off.
Christmas come early for me!

You got one of the more desired versions with the heat shield. Awesome.
Actually Harkamus, I didn't! Thats not the gun Im getting I just put up a pic of a P7 to show the squeeze cocker.
Its a P7psp so it doesn't have the heat shield. For me though its not that big of an issue on a carry gun. If I need to shoot 50 times I will probably be dead! Ive been wanting this gun and a Dan Wesson 1911 and I figure I can but the 1911 in time. They aren't making these anymore.

Ah. PSPs are still awesome. I always wanted a P7 myself. I feel the same about the heatshield thing. It's nice to have, but not needed. I always wondered though if the P7's frame is steel or aluminum. Never was able to find out. I like all steel firearms myself.

Im the same harkamus. Thats why I really like the CZ 75. I just never really warmed up to polymer guns myself. The frame is forged steel BTW.

Yeah, that is a picture of a P7M8, not a PSP. Note the larger trigger guard, as well as the heat shield already mentioned. They are fantastic pistols. I have a P7M8 bought in 2000, and then followed it up with a BMI German surplus PSP when they first started showing up in 2003.

Ironically, KFU, I also carry a CZ-75D PCR (compact) as my primary, but altnerate with the P7 PSP often. I find the manual of arms very intuitive with the squeeze cocker.

Wanted one of these myself. Last one I looked at was priced at $900.00. Sounds like you got a sweet deal Chris.

Yeah wayne, found it over on tngunowners from a guy that lives real close to me. Let me know if you wanna shoot it sometime. I just got a membership over at orsa in oak ridge so I now have 1000 yards to shoot!

I may have to take you up on that. Ive got a .308 I haven't had time to shoot yet. Ashamed to admit , I don't even
know how close the scope is to center. Maybe in a few more weeks my O.T. will end.

just remember to always squeeze the handle when covering a bad guy! Or there will be someone like me to notice and never let you live it down ;) lol

They are sweet guns...
