Kershaw Groove that is! haha :D

Took a trip back up to GP Knives yesterday since we were slow at work. I got to looking around and as usual spent most of my time in front of the Kershaw display, this time the Groove is the one that caught my eye. What a helluva knife! This knife is alot more than I expected after seeing various photos on the internet. You couldn't ask for a better fit in hand, makes me not want to put it down! The pocket clip is small and unassuming which I like and it sits fairly deep in the pocket too which is a plus IMO. The flipper action is very smooth and it's pretty easy to open for an un-AO. Got a couple new bald patches on my arm now due to the nice factory edge it came with and the striations on the blade give it a truely unique look, which is definitely a plus too IMO. Fit and finish is as I've come to expect from Kershaw., as close to perfect as a knife can be. All in all.., another   for Kershaw!! Keep up the great work guys!

It certainly is a great knife. Built very tough and feels great in the hand.
Which version did you go with? I went with the Tanto version...wait that
isn't a tanto. I thought it was. It use to be...I think.
;)

Vincenzo!! Very nice, give me some details on what you used to do that mod. I love it!

Cheers,

Just used my DMT aligner. I worked on where the main part of the blade meets the
tanto part a little, then just worked the blade until I got a nice even flow to it.
It did take some time, but I'm just not crazy about tantos. I like it this way a lot
better....for me anyway.

nice SV, looks great!! I went with the regular since I'm not big on tanto's either and don't have the skills neccesary to pull off that nice of a blade reshaping.

That's what i'd call a modified, or semi Tanto blade. Or you could call it the "SV3"
I like it.
Maybe Kershaw will see that design and use it on future knives.
