I'm new to Beckers but have my first two. Both have minor mods and aftermarket kydex sheaths. My BK9 does not see as much use as the BK15 just yet but my boys and I are camping next week before one of them goes into the Marines. I'm sure that the 9 will see some chopping action then.

I really am liking the BK15. It is a great general purpose knife that spends time in the kitchen as well as just general around the house duty. This weekend I plan on putting a new edge with my Edge Pro since it's a little dull now and the angle is too steep for my sharpmaker. Someday I actually need to quit being lazy and learn to use paper wheels.

Now that I've been bitten with the bug I'm thinking about picking up a BK2.

First off, here is the BK15 with custom micarta. The fit of the scales are off but I'm going to sand them down just a little.

Next up is the first Becker I bought along with the BK15.

Some nice looking steel you got there. Nice set up.

Thanks! I'm torn between kydex and leather for the BK9. I have a Skystorm leather sheath that is great but the kydex is going to attach to the side of my pack a little better.

I really dig those grey Saint scales. Thanks for the pics. Be sure to post pics after the trip !!!

Nice looking rig!

As to the scale fit a buddy of mine had bought a few sets of the Saint Cutlery grips and ran into the same problem. His grips usually have a bit of slop built into the fit of the screws (as do the factory Grivory sets) .Judging by the amount of tang showing at the bottom of the grip I would say all you may need to do is loosen them up and get them aligned better so they are even all around..Don't remove any material unless you have to.;)

Sweet combo. That 15 with kydex and micarta is looking super tough! Good stuff, man.

One of my friends bought the full size becker grips from saints and he also had some excess material. He has not gotten to sand it down yet, but we were both surprised seeing that they cost $45.

The 15 is gaining popularity for sure. Was toward the end of my tobuy list. Maybe it needs moved up a bit.

Do it. It was near the bottom of my list as well, but once I realized how useful it could be in food prep I knew I had to get one.

nice Beckers! and I like their pants too ;)
Thanks for the pics.
Al

Thanks for the hint on the Saint scales. I loosened the bolts and moved them around. Now they are much more aligned.

Thanks Al. The kydex is perfect! :)
