Ever looked for a "holy grail" knife for YEARS and finally found it?

Ebay lets you do a "Saved search" where they'll email you whenever they find your search results. Mine was a Boker Beluga and Ebay hadn't sent me a "found your search" notice for YEARS!

Until last week! I won it today for $52.00 . WAY cheaper than expected.

I was always turned on by this particular knife because I have a thing for skeletonized knives and part-serrated knives. Also, this one looks like a fixed blade version of one of my favorite folders - the Emerson Commander. I never bought one outright when they were in production because they were so expensive. I got this one dirt cheap probably because it's used and doesn't have a sheath. (Only a very small problem and I've already started the process of getting one made.)

I'll probably give it a home-made scotch brite finish to get the marks out of it and make it incognito or nude or whatever you call a knife that has no markings - I can't remember at the moment.

This will be the last knife I buy for a long, LONG time since I'm poor(ish) and have debt to pay off - especially since I just traded to get my FOLDER holy grail knife which was a Benchmade 806.

So, now I have my two "Holy Grail" knives and I can chill for a while and only sell knives and pimp the ones I have.

Here it is. Check it out:

Congrats on the score. Wow, is that made of X15 TN? Boker was way ahead of the curve.

Sterile.

That's a nice knife, it's actually much handsomer skeletonized than its scaled brother the Orca.
