After years of using Opera, and getting irked over the occasional problems that come with using it, tonight was the last straw.
I was using the free IRS on-line tax software, and Opera started not showing the button text/images, and I had to open IE to be able to complete the forms.
At first it was just the Back/Next button, but it got progressively worse until pretty much all of the buttons were gone. Extremely frustrating, obviously.

Downloaded Firefox, and I was up & running within 5 minutes with all of my Opera bookmarks imported, and another 5 min for a few great extensions, and I am very pleased with Firefox.

Kinda strange to be using something other than Opera after all these years, but enough is enough...

Make sure you get the "show this page in IE" extension. Some sites still don't work well with Firefox.

Yeah, I'm sold on Firefox. donovan is right, there are a few things that don't work but the IE View extension takes care of those quick.

Here are some good extensions to try:

Image Zoom (great for resizing images on the fly)

Enhanced History Manager (a great history manager)

IE VIew (opens windows in IE)

GMail Notifier (shows you mail status, lets you log in automatically)

Bugmenot (tired of registering on a site just to see a page somebody linked to?)

Openbook (Bookmark manager)

eBay Negs (easy viewing of seller's negs)

CookieCuller (a great cookie manager)

FunkyCache (quick cache cleaning)

Adblock Plus (block those ads!!!)

Adblock FiltersetG Updater (Let the filter block those ads for you!!!)

I love using Opera, but some sites just don't render fully or properly with it. :(

I use opera and firefox 50%:45%, and IE 5%.

Opera - I'm using the latest version - reminds me of a really fast sports car, it's a blast, a lot of fun to drive. Interesting too; different.

But it's not for every application, every day.

The latest Metal Lion theme on Firefox is way cool, BTW.

If yo do a lot of downloading, Download-them-all is another really great extension for Firefox.
