Finally got a 25...

Just picked up a 25 off the exchange a few days ago and it just came in. I like it. I heard the rave about ergos, but as soon as I held it I noticed a hot spot on the second finger groove where the tip of the pocket clip sits. Has anyone done any modifications to the pocket clip? I'm honestly quite disappointed. I've found my 21 and Zaan to be more comfortable. I'll probably be doing some cutting test. Hopefully it'll hold up as well as people have raved as well.
 
I think it will grow on you, change is good, so they keep telling me at work!! :) I'm liking mine more every day, course I mostly just play with it....:)
 
The bump for the finger groove lands right in the middle if the knuckle on my middle finger if I hold it like my 21, very disappointing that way, but, if I switch my grip SLIGHTLY it fits just right- took a little getting used to but I've grown to love it.
The 21 and umnumzaan are definitely more comfortable in more grips to me but I'll always have a 25 in my collection.

Hopefully yours will grow on you and yours cuts as well as mine does.
 
I have that issue with various knife brands. Don't know why they design clips so the tip points up, creating hotspots.....
 
I like the clip, it's just right not to tight or loose, I can put in my pocket with one hand. When cutting I can feel the clip but it doesn't bother me, and I'm not cutting with it all day.

I found the 25 to become very nice after a thorough break in, and a clean n lube, I edc the 25-75 percent of the time.
 
I ditto the OP. I love love love CRK's clip but I believe it should be at least shorter on the 25. If the raised tip of the clip were even with the bump of the finger groove I'm sure it would make a big difference in comfort. As for now I'm planning to contact CRK and ask them if the Ti-Lock clip will fit (I think it will) and if so if I can buy one of those to try on my Seb 25.
 
Ti-lock clip would remedy this issue, but is it compatible? If so pictures anyone? If it looks awesome and solve the hot spot then why not.
 
The Ti lock clip will definitely fit as there are other posts showing it being swapped out on other knives and the standard clip being used on Ti locks.
If you end up doing it please post a vid or a thread letting us know what you think of the combo, I'm very curious to see it.
