Finally got a 710

For some reason the 710 never caught my attention until I saw the 710-142. Now that I have one in hand I wish I hadn't waited to get one. Of course it's no ordinary 710 but I didn't expect this to become just about my favorite BM. It's absolutely perfect. I just had to share.

The plain-jane 710 is a beautiful knife. I love it's clean lines and simplicity.

It's amazing what a difference the scales make on the 710-142, looks almost like a different knife.

Yea the gold class is over the top. I wanted it for the Damascus and the carbon fiber but after holding it it's the size and design of the knife that surprised me. I knew it was considered a classic but I don't have any local shops around that would allow me to handle a knife before buying one so I have to go by photos and other peoples testimony when I buy a knife. I just never noticed the 710 for some reason.

The 710 is how I got into Benchmade in the first place. I now have my original M2 and have added a new D2. Yours is amazing, love the damascus blade.

The 710 took me to another level with knives.
