Finally got a BK11

I had ordered from a couple of places in the past few months, well, guess I will never see those orders. Ebay has been up to the $70 (plus shipping)range lately. And no BK11s at all at the moment.
Today as I was crusing thru the items, a NIB with BIN for $27.99 jumped out at me. Shipping was $6.50, so I am a happy camper.
I think it was this low because, it was what the seller paid for it way back when, and there were no other BK11s on ebay to get a price check from.
 
Nice grab! I snagged a Necker, and am going to the knife store tonight to see if they have any Beckers left for a good price. Can't wait for Becker to have the line available again, if the Necker is any indication. :)

So today I just had to get out of the house and go for a ride, so I stopped in at the local Sporting goods store, to look around. I looked in their display case and saw some Becker's. I asked what mods. they were and the guy at the counter said, "all we have are BK 7's". I already have 2 of those. So I asked the clerk to take a look through the stock drawers and he found 2 Neckers. He thought they were way over priced, (they were marked at $39.99), "cause they're so small and don't even have handles". I told him I'll take both. He looked at me like I was a nut. When I got up to the checkout they rang up on there puter at
$23.57. The clerk said "they must be clearancing these out", Needless to say I didn't question it.
I just got done reprofiling them to 25 degrees and wrapped paracord for the handles. I'm one happy dude!!

lucky indeed! of all the becker's i have the little necker is used more than any due to it always hangin' round my neck!
 
Yeah, me too. The Necker is always right there when I need it, I usually rig it with paracord to the inside of my belt. I hope Ethan can get his line back into production, I think they are one of the best knives for the money, out there.
 
I scored a Patrol Machete last week. With box. $90 shipped. I was so happy considering people beat on eachother for another one the previous week and got it up to close to $200.

There are reasonable deals out there if you happen across them. :)
