We needed some kindling so I grabbed the Beefmandu, some brews and headed outside.
It battoned like a dream, the hollow saber literally popped the wood part with little effort. After filling two boxes of Oak kindling it was still shaving sharp.
This blade is a keeper for sure
Thanks Swamp Rat
not the best pics (see above text, "some brews and headed outside") enjoy.....

Beefmandu feels like the bigger badder fatter big brother to the RMD, its just plain awesome. Get one if you can you will love it.
I'm taking it out today hiking, pics to follow....

Sunday I packed up my bag and went out for a nice hike / deer scouting trip. Took along the NMFSH, Beefmandu, Crash rat, water and some kind bars. The weather was typical in New England this time of year, light snow, light wind out of the north west and around 28 degrees or so, my type of weather. I hiked into some new areas that I have never been into and found some great deer sign, new runs, bedding areas and lots of fresh rubs. I found a new stand for ground hunting, tucked in behind a stone wall a blown down Oak behind it, its gonna be a nice sit for next season. Over all it was a nice hike and an awesome day to be out in the woods. Here are some pics, enjoy....
