I've been meaning to pick up a Chris Reeves knife for a long time, but they have always eluded me somehow. Finally, I picked up an Aviator the other day at a local knife show -- Thanks CR for the great craftmanship. I'm sure it won't be the only CRK I'll end up with.

BTW -- what do you folks put in your hollow handles?

Congrat's.The Aviator is a nice knife.I have the Mountaineer I and II.I love these things. They are very tough so use it hard.As far as what to carry in the handle,I just keep fire starting materials.I took a swedish Firesteel[the scout model]and removed the plastic handle to make it fit.I also cary waxed strips I got from Bagheera. They work great and fit well.Enjoy.

Congrats on the step into the world of CRK.
I have a Shadow IV. I keep a mini compass and a small cord saw in my handle.
Now you know the next logical step in your knife quest is a Sebenza right?
Use your Aviator in good health.

I'd like one, and it's on my list of "must haves," but that list is pretty long too. :D
