Been irresponsible way too long just storing the folders in a secret drawer. Finally bought a Lotus organizer tower for the small and medium sized knives. Not the fanciest around, but still an improvement from the present lol.

I just googled Lotus Organizer Tower and I came up with a small parts plastic organizer (drawers). Is this what we are talking about?

I would like to find something like one of those tool pouches / roll that are basically a piece of fabric with pouches sewn in so as to carry wrenches... still need to find one that I like. If you hang it ont he inside of a cabinet door or whatever you will be able to see them all at once (I don't own may folders, arround 40 or so). Nice to pick the one for the day!

Pretty much yeah, lol. Not fancy, but hoping it works. We’ll see when the thingy arrives. If the knives don’t fit too well, I’ll just put some other stuff in.

I've owned hundreds of knives, but never have I owned more than perhaps five that I might seriously carry... all the rest were collectibles which flew the coop. What comes to mind are: CRK, TRM, Laconico (DROP), Slysz Bowie, Gayle Bradley II.
Recently, the MassDrop Laconico is my fave...my goodness, does that thing slice!!!!

I used something similar for a couple of years, worked out nicely. I lined the drawers with adhesive felt cut to fit.

For the past few years I've used a machinist's tool chest my wife bought me, atop which sits a stack of make-up organizers for overflow.

No safe queens for me. All of my knives get used to some extent (I don't carry my Spyderhawk to the office for dicing my meal). Sometimes the choice is dictated for the intended purpose for the day. Others by the clothes I wear or where I will be going.

View attachment 1511424 I clicked on it thinking you never had pants with pockets before. Lol.

A tool chest with drawers makes for a nice collection. They have key locks to keep kids out.

I keep my collection in two blue print file cabinets. I found in the trash. Like the one above but a lot older. If I didn’t have them I would have ended up with a Craftsman rolling tool box for them.

For a smaller collection search for “side tool box”. It’s a tall skinny set of drawers to add to a rolling large box.

Also “Intermediate box” is one that goes between the top and bottom tool boxes. I mention it because they work well under a bench or built into a shelf. Because they don’t have a top that opens.

My dude, I’m all about pants pockets. 5.11 pants man, haha!

Nice post. I’ll consider it as a longer term investment in the future. It’s nice to have quality storage. Conveniently, I don’t have to worry about kids playing with my Cold Steels. Yet.
