I've been wanting to get a Delica for a while now, and finally got a PS gen. 3 FRN model. I love it! It is now my left-hand side companion and general purpose knife.
My problem was that I went straight for the higher end Spydies (Yojimbo, Lil' Temperance) and bypassed the lower price bracket entirely.:foot: I liken this to having only driven an S2000 and never experienced the Accord that is in many ways the driving force of the company.
I was somewhat hung up on getting a generation 4 Delica, but this one is perfect as is. I don't really desire the 4 way clip anyway for this model. I'll probably get one down the road anyway, just to see how this great design has been refined. I do also want a Salt for beach trips...
