First I'll say none of this would be possible without JonesE JonesE !!!!!! He remembered me mentioning I've wanted one of these and reached out that he had one he would sell... on top of that he gave me time to gather funds to buy it (I just bought a couple knives right before he contacted me, I was shocked at how nice and patient he was!!)

I'll get to the point ... military cf/ti s90v!!!

Once again JonesE JonesE I can't thank you enough and I can't wait to put it to work!!!!!

It's a beautiful Knife that I was lucky enough to buy on sale from KWs when it was still in stock. One of Goldens best manufacturing (along with Fluted Titanium) pieces to date IMO. Congratulations

Congratulations on the grail !!!! 😍
Looking forward to seeing the pics of its journey with you.

It's good when people look out for you like that!

A few years ago I was talking to my favorite knife dealer at a gun show and he offered sell the same Military model as yours to me. It had been his EDC for a while and he moved to something else. It rides clipped in the watch pocket of my cargo shorts now.

An individual of discriminating taste - those are the exact same models of Military that I owned. Both of mine were adopted to tip up.
I actually saved a thread that showed what you used to do that, I'll give it a try soon!

My favorite Millie! I had two. I frankenmillied one and took the DLC M4 blade and hardware and black clip and put it in/on that CF/Ti handle and its awesome.

Congrats!
That Mili is on my list of Spydies I foolishly let pass me by....

The fluted millie is definitely a looker. If you intend to use the knife frequently, however, a G10 handle feels more comfortable in hands. Don't blame yourself too much if you missed it. I had one sitting in my storage for a few years before I finally moved it.

That's how I lost the stainless Endura that I gave my dad before he passed. I put it in the small watch pocket in my cargo pants while 4-wheeling. It was a 1st gen and I freaking miss that little knife.:(

Mine is a frankenmili too. I caught a cf/ti with a CTS204P in it.

That's tragic for multiple reasons! The first Spyderco I ever bought was a serrated Co-Pilot that I gave to my dad back in the late 1980s or early 1990s.

I want to Frankenmili mine - just waiting for one with a CruWear / 4V / 3V / etc blade to come out. My other milies are a fluted ti / s110v Frankenmili and a standard green CTS204p.

Only one of my 5 Military is stock. BHQ M4 Jade.
I have 2 Fluted Ti. One Cruwear and one S90V. I have a digicam S90V

Yeah, it bums me out every time I think about it, and the only reason I did carry it that day was because my POLICE model was too big and the pants were light flimsy material and I was afraid the clip wouldn't hold, so I used the Endura in the little pocket. I also got him a 1st gen ss Delica that I still have. Needless to say, I never carry that anywhere!
ETA: I'd love to find a nice old Co-Pilot!
