Been looking at em for a long time and finally got one a few weeks ago from Sooner State Knives. Excellent service! Amazing knife!!! Can't believe I waited so long to pick one up. No doubt in my mind this is my grail knife and worth every cent. The craftsmanship is spectacular. Just awesome. Absolutely awesome.

I always love reading the initial impressions of someone shortly after they get their first Sebenza. I wish I could go back and feel that way again sometimes, but believe me when I tell you - the second one will be just as special. :)

Congratulations; enjoy the knife!

Thanks! I tried to post pics but it says I'm not allowed to make attachments. Guessing it's because I'm a new member and don't have many posts?

i just got into the Sebenza world too. The feel of a rock solid all titanium knife is making all my other beloved knives feel cheap. Do I still need them...or do I upgrade them to CRK???

One large Sebbie would/will last you a lifetime...given a few spa treatments over the years.
But I doubt that just ONE CRK will make you content...
Wait until you try out the wood-grained models...they are works of art...

No need to hurry to sell off your other knives, enjoy the CRK you have. I've kept a few of my first collection as a reminder of the gateway knives that sent me down the rabbit hole.
Christmas is right around the corner.

Thanks guys! Ya, I'm still in awe everytime I grip and use the knife. I was skeptical to be honest if I was really going to like it prior to receiving it. I've been carrying a PM2 for so long, and have never owned a frame lock prior to the Sebenza. My only concern thus far is watching how fast the lock bar is moving across the tang. Seems like it was about 40% when I first got it and in 3 weeks it's already moved to about 60%. Is this pretty normal? I read a few threads about the lock bar travel, but didn't notice anyone really talking about initial break in/settle of the lock bar moving over that quick. Either way, I'm not terribly worried about it. I imagine once it settles in where it wants to be, she'll homestead there for quite sometime.

10-4, checked the screws, they are torqued down pretty tight still. I'm sure it's just going through normal break in stuff. Thanks for the advice. As long as it doesn't go to 100% lock up in the next few weeks...haha, then I'm not too worried about it. Besides I hear CRK has really good customer service, so either way they'll make it right.

A 60% lock up is right where it needs to be. If continues to creep further give CRK a call and they can tune it, but you're certainly within the design tolerances.

Been awhile, see if I can remember how to do this right. Lol.

So I took it down after work, cleaned and lubed and now it's looking closer to what it was when I first got it.
