I just traded into a prime secimen never used or carried LMS and it is hot. The MS is a very well designed knife, simple, robust and purpose-driven, but the 1/4 stock used in the MS was a little hefty and I parted with it, not happy about selling it but not happy with carrying it.
The LMS feels ideal for use as a carry weapon. The knife is light enough that it will not wear on the back or belt if carried all day in an urban setting and shares all the proper combative attributes of its huskier brother, but faster. Point on target, great grip, non-scary appearance, plus the added acceleration and recovery possible by shaving a bit of weight, I am sorry I did not get one earlier. The cost of acquisition was justified entirely.
I am doubly pleased that the sheath has a reversible J-clip and is comfortable for IWB carry. I sold the MS because the sheath was older style with a fixed loop on the rear of the sheath and was uncomfortable as hell, and the uncomfortable sheath with too much weight made the knife a pain to take with me.
Mr. Busse, thank you.
Parker
