finally got a mini cqc 7b, who else rolls with a mini?

well, i ended up trading my 13 for a new 2009 black waved PE mini cqc7b.
i LOVE this knife! it is the stoutest knife i have, and really is not too much smaller than a regular 7.

i am really digging how everything is the same thickness as even the super 7, just shorter and not as deep . they did a real good job on the blade, by making the grinds so that the blade is almost full thickness all the way tio the tip, but not quite.

anyone else feeling the mini love!?
 
I have a couple of mini-7s as well as a Krein reground one :cool: and find them to be great
little knives. I used a mini 7 for years as a chainsaw operator and never had any problems at all.

I probably prefer the regular sized knives if I was pushed to take one or tuther. But as you say the fact
that they are all the same stock just shorter does make them feel like wee boxers with a few pints in them :p:thumbup:
 
The mini's are great. I had an A, B and mini Commander. I used the heck out of' em when I had em. They always rode double with my 13 or 11 and usually got the call for the regular every day stuff. Hope they framelock them some day. Nice score!

Mini 7b is my favorite touring knife.

When I'm on my bike the mini is in my pocket and has served me well. Perfect pocket size and always at the ready.

I'm pretty sure I'd never get in trouble for carrying this knife pretty much no matter what state I'm in. (I'm sure for some government buildings and arena's are best left on the bike tho)

just picked upa mini A-100 today at Plazacutlery
I can't put it down, can't wiat to use it
 
I sold every last one of my folders except my mini 7b and SAK farmer - I kept it over my mini-grip and delica.

Beast of a knife and a great traveling companion when my fixed blades are a bit much.

The min 7b is one of my favorite knives. Does everything my regular 7b does, except scare the hell out of people.
