Just thought some of you might appreciate this. Got married a little over a year ago, and finally got all the pictures. Thought I'd share this one, which is of my wife and I cutting our wedding cake together--with an 18" HI WWII khukuri. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't my idea (the bride's family actually insisted we use it, when they found out I'd brought a khukuri, since it's the closest thing we had to a blessed knife).

Worked way better than the actual cake knife that someone had provided, as it happens. Just goes to show, a khuk really is a tool for virtually any job.

Congrats on the anniversary! :) My wife and I did the same thing with a YCS...Seven years ago this October:) Mucho smoke and good thoughts for you and your wife's happiness, my friend:)

I love your picture. Using your Kukri brought a spirit of joy, fun, and a bonding of two people. I wish you a long happy life together.

Thanks guys! I was going through our pictures, and found that one, and am just glad I've got someone who also has HIKV. I mean, she still gets a bit fussy when I buy a new khuk sometimes, but that's just until I buy HER one too. She loves her Kobra.

Congrat! That's an awesome application of the HI khukuri, each of which is a blessed knife many times over.

Congratulations!
Lovely couple, thank you for sharing
