Finally got a S1 bowie

I have finally got hold of a S1 bowie, unusual in that it has a nylon sheath.
Beautiful lines, blued steel, an amazing knife.
Crappy pics, I'll try and take some better ones tomorrow.

Very nice. That sheath is not original though. That came with the Government series.

Nice one, yes I'm familiar with the site, the sheath is *ever so slightly tight.

If you are unable to find the orignal with 5th SF crest or the latter SOG logo,
I am pretty certain the current SOG Bowie 2.0 sheath, available from SOG will work.
The 2.0 blade is only 0.15 inch longer than the S1.

Nice, I will try to find an original, as the 2.0 sheath uses plastic snaps.

They did? That's a shame. They did the same to the Seal Pup nylon sheaths as well, Plastic snaps.
