...putting the grinder to my TGLB.

Since the debut of the Team Gemini a few years ago I have wanted to do this. It turned out that I wasn't the only one with that idea as a few others have already done this. So, it's not an original idea by any means but here goes. I was never a good writer so I'll let the photos do the talking:

Prior to the carnage:

Shaping complete. About to have a run in the blast cabinet. The media needed to be replaced, so the blasting took a while to complete. On the up side, the worn media left a softer finish instead of the usual aggressive texture.

Final product. I'm really digging the texture of the micarta now. Very grippy!

Wow....very interesting. ...I kinda like it.
Will be getting with ya soon snwbrdr202.....nice to see ya man.

Nice work, always like to see folk make a knife their own.

Blasted micarta and G10 do have a very nice texture. There are a few makers that offer that; would be nice to see Busse do it.

I imagine that blasted canvas micarta would be nice and grippy.

Thanks for taking the time to show us (me) how it was done! I see at least one copycat of that blade showing up round these parts in about 14 weeks.....

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am considering doing a passaround to give those who haven't handled the TGLB a chance to see what it's all about.

Great! someone finally did it to the TGLB. I remember someone had done it to the original TG but I'm amazed that it took this long to do the TGLB. I wonder how close the grind got to the "wall"? Also like AZTimT I would like to know what this weighs now as well

I'm gonna have to get this done, it looks like a "perfect" knife now

Nice Job......Now it looks more like a Fighter...I like it...

Nice, so now how much does it weigh? ;)

Now there's something I forgot. I was looking high and low for my scale last night with no luck. Maybe tonight .

Sweet! I look forward to it...I can't take my eyes off the Mod, I predict more money leaving my wallet...
