Finally got it!!!!

After waiting weeks and weeks i finally received my Large Reg Sebbie..it had been on hold by Australian Quarantine for three days,it made me so nervous i actually drive out and had to pay $A200 in government taxes before they would release her.
All you people in the USA are so lucky to have the worlds greatest knife in your back yard!
the total cost for me was $A900, but you know what?
I ve got it for life....
Now for a small reg!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From having lived in Australia for a year and a half I asked the same question when I first arrived.
I was told that when they say "Quarantine" it is actually more like "Customs". The people you have to declare items to and pay duty to.

no , i had a heated discussion with the Quarantine officer.
Customs cleared it ..

Congrats kostak... but i think there has been a mistake! you got sent the knife that I ordered

. Mine is yet to be born, and still has to make its way through NZ customs. Tell me, is it worth the wait?

Mate,you ask is it worth the wait?
absolutely, i waited about 9 weeks and the service you get from the CRK staff is first class.
just do it and order a piece, but i must warn you once you have one ,it wont be long before you get a second,third etc....

How strange......
Why on earth would quarantine have a problem with it????
Perhaps they don't like seeing something so well made and they get jealous.
