I missed out on a Spectre recently(good catch jlauffer LOL), but I have an awesome consolation purchase coming! It is a Taipan NIB San Mai. I started picking up some San Mai a while back and concentrated on the Tanto's and ignoring the Taipan's since I already had Gerber Mark I,II's. And when I decided that the Taipan in San Mai should be in my collection the prices had gone through the roof. Counting the days till it arrives LOL!

Cool beans. I have one in AUS8A, so wasn't in a rush to get one in SMIII. Now like you say the prices are going crazy, so will bide my time and see what happens. Got the Spectre today and it is interesting...may do a write up on the tear-down/rebuild.
