I got lucky!! My local flea market payed off again.
I found a guy who had a bunch of Kershaws. And, luckily, he had one that I've been wanting, the Blur S30V. His starting price was 45, and I got him down to 30 bucks. I felt really lucky to get it at that price. Sorry I haven't taken any pics yet. I will soon.
I really liked the Blurs that I gave my boys for Christmas. So, I've been looking for a Blur S30V because I love the S30V steel. I've been just waiting for the right deal. And, there it was.
It's been riding shotgun next to my ZT 350 since I got it last weekend. And, I gotta say I like it almost as much as my ZT. It's super comfortable to grip, and its very comfortable to use when making repetitive cuts. The only thing I don't like, is it doesn't have the flipper my ZT 350 has. But, once used to the thumb studs on it I was able to deploy it just as easily as the 350.
I gotta say also that with the thinner blade on the Blur S30V it seems to be a better slicer in the kitchen, and in the garden where I spend a lot of time. It was also very easy to sharpen, and seemed to take a finer edge than the thicker bladed 350. I sharpened both on my Lansky at the 25 degree slot. So far, two thumbs up! One of the best Kershaws!!
