Case earned back some lost respect with this one. From me at least. I can't keep mine out of my pocket since i got it.

I have been wondering a lot lately about that style of blade.

The "wharncliff" type of blade that they use on some of the copperlocks (or whatever the knife is called) that I have seen on the forum here has really grown on me in the last few weeks. i would love to see how that blade shape performs in an EDC role.

Looks like it would stab sufficiently and sharpening would also be very straight forward.

I happen to be carrying mine this evening. I had to open a few packages and letters, man that little wharncliffe blade is nice.

I too have been really drawn to the Wharncliffe blades. They just do such a great job with everything I need on a daily basis.

Some of the people on youtube pointed out I said vanadium wrong and I'll tell you like I did them. I say potatoe you say patatoe. I know what I said but its just my hillbilly slang taking over. LOL :D Gotta love us hillbillies.

Also don't laugh at the Tony Bose thing. Hee Hee

You pushed me over the edge Ash. I couldn't take it anymore and ordered a Cayenne Bone one for myself tonight. I think that color would be right up your alley.;)

I know you said not to but I've gotta admit, the vid made me laugh.:D Thanks for sharing.

Glad I could be of assistance. :D Everytime I make a vid someone jokes about my hillbilly slang talk. What can I say. I'm a true to the core West Virginia gal.

This seems to be a knife that almost completely unites people in their appreciation, an impressive thing given the spectrum of tastes and needs in this forum. Not only is it a fine user, but it is so nice to look at and handle: you want to take it out of your pocket and examine it! I'm very keen on both the cv and stainless Barehead versions.

Ash, you joined the club well and proper!

Every time I see the title of this thread I hear the Carter Family plucking away...and that's a good thing! :)

Good video Ash. Don't let them get you down, you pronounce it all just fine.:thumbup:

Case did indeed hit a home run with the swayback jack. The fit and finish is beyond good factory stuff, bordering on custom. Case must have pulled all their best cutlers to work on them.

Carl.

Awesome swayback. You couldn't have made a better choice in my opinion.
