Thank you to Lacy Smith of Alabama Damascus / Smith-Knives.com

I got my own custom Alabama Random Damascus Blur!

He is one of the nicest guys in the knife business, call him and see!

I already posted in the photo thread but dang, just dang man! Hal you are a crazy man! That is just insane and Kershaw should just start making them now!

Hal, you need to put some nice burl wood inserts in that. Good looking knife.

I checked out their website, and they also have this really cool pen made of damascus. Absolutely beautiful! Looks like woodgrain, but it's metal! Way out of my price range, and it's a fountain pen, which I'm not too sure about, but definitely very neat!

Did you de-assist? And how do the rotated thumb studs feel?

Still assisted.
The rotated thumbstuds are an oversight and very easy to put back in position.

I have another coming from Smith-Knives... the next will be a Plain Edge Damascus Tanto.

Since he is making more Damascus Blur blades I will carry this.

Geezus Hal you didn't mention this "little" gem in our recent talks! And you thought me possibly having a TBLK was a big deal? :) Looks awesome! What Kershaw needs to make us Blur nuts.

I don't like to talk about something until it is in hand. I have learned my lesson on that!

Kershaw won't make them so the guy who supplies Kershaw with their Damascus made it. Same steel as they "would have" used had they made them.
