Pulled the trigger a few weeks back, think it was July 3rd. I place the order with EKI for a C7LEFTYBTS, it arrived about a week later.

No I did not go for the Commander, for reason I will write more on that later.

Life has been too crazy since about the end of June, and about the time I though things were under control. They went out of control, and only took a very deep plunge.

So I will work on my review, impressions, and as I did not return the knife under Ernie's 7 Day Return n Policy. It is a keeper.

Have been working on the breaking in the knife from time to time, opening, and closing the knife.

To get the action smoother as glass. But I am thinking I need to BACK OFF the one big screw a bit, and all could be wonderful. As I am feeling the difference this BREAKING IN MAKES.

Slow process if you have arthritis, and I am president, member in good standing of the arthritis club. LOL

PS you don't want to join this club.

Very cool!! Now get yourself that lefty Commander and I hope all shapes up well on your end :)

Great choice of knife! Although, you need a Commander. Hopefully this break in period, on top of just owning the knife will prove to be therapeutic for you. It will get your mind on different and more happy things.

Congrats again! We want pics, dammit.

At this point all I need is some more time working the Blade the the arch from Closed, to Open, and back again to Closed again.

Getting the Blade moving in a smoother arch.

Thinking about backing off the BIG SCREW a tad to see if this helps.

Awesome! I would certainly fiddle with the big screw and adjust that bugger. They have always been just a touch on the tight side. Be careful not to leave the pivot loose (blade wiggle while unlocked) while opening and closing the blade, might scratch/scrape the black coating on the blade against the liners.

Well as I am sitting at home recuperating from a trip to Hell & Back I have time to work the action. Maybe another 200 or so openings, and closing will accomplish a smooth action.

When I got the knife new of of the box it was stiff, now is is much better. Not where I would like it to be but better.
