for month after month after month I have been working as an indentured in andy's shop with barely a few coppers to show for it. I have been sanding and profiling, bleeding and sweating in the hot and the cold watching these incredible knives come together and leave. No more I tell you! This weekend while at the georgia custom knife makers meeting I was able to scrape together a few of the coppers that have come my way and bought a ticket for the scholarship knife raffle. The gods of all things sharp and pointy from time to time will smile on the lowly apprentice and lo this weekend they chose me as their tool to mock both master and craftsmen alike! I am now the owner of a fiddleback woodsmen with a forged curly cue, black canvas micarta and bloodwood. To make it all the more sweet it also came with a stunning display box made from bloodwood and black canvas micarta made by none other than Dogwood Dan:D! I am recharging my camera batteries but will post photos soon.

That was a very sweet Woodsman -- I wondered who might come up with it. If it couldn't be me, I'm glad to hear that it was you.

Dude - I heard that guy was talking shit about you too the other day. But don't worry - I think you can take him - I hear you are about his size.
