I ordered the Bushcraft Force (stainless) and Classic No. 2 (carbon) from Ragnar at Ragweed Forge. They're FINALLY in!

Sadly, I haven't used them yet because it's been pouring outside all day. I will say they both came razor (RAZOR) sharp. I like the grip with the Force better mostly because I feel like I'll slip up on the blade with the No. 2.

In another day or two I'll come back and post some more impressions.

Nice new items there:thumbup:

Oddly enough, I was given a carbon Mora for my birthday a couple of weeks back. Simple knife but extremely pleasant and unpretentious to use. The one in the shed on a property i bought a few years back is really worn down by some savage&inept grinder sharpening, still cuts excellently though:D

Red handle is a must have in any collection.

Everyone needs at least one mora around. These things are the Opinel and sodbusters of the sheath knife world.

Carl.

I've got a coffee can full of 'em in the closet and several in my packs.
Great for everything from whittling to camping to tasks around the home, yard and shop.

Darn problem is people discovering how good and unpretentious a knife the Mora is. Used to pick them up on ebay for 4 or 5 bucks, or a group of 4 for under $20. Not anymore. Have five of them scattered about. Three stainless and two carbon Clippers.

I want a Bushcraft and the Military, but I got spoiled with cheap and haven't gone for it yet.

Looking forward to hear how you like them after using just a little bit. Congrats on the first two. You'll get more. Careful, they can get into your heart like a peanut, soddie, or Opinel. Enjoy.

For those of you that whittle, look at their laminated steel short carving knives

nice choices! i have one with their carbon blade you can't beat them for the price. i might buy a few more and try my hand at re-handling.
