Ive wanted a sog desert dagger ever since my cousin showed me his when I was a kid. Flash forward a long ways and I finally found one at a reasonable price. Its just as awesome as i remember, and now I just want more of them. SOG doesn't make em like they used to.

No laws out in the middle of no where will stop such a knife from having a field day. Congrat on finding one!

Awesome that you got your grail man! And I DEFINITELY agree, SOG doesn't make 'em like they used to.
I really began my collecting with SOG fixed blades, many years back. Still miss my old Seal 2k, and I
never should have sold my scuba/demo...

Jprime you'd have to research the knife laws in your specific area. They are different everywhere. Sometimes
you can "own" the knife legally just not carry it. I got the legal blade app on my phone, check it out sometime.

It's always good to hear when someone finds their grail. Congratulations on your find!!!!!!

Congratulations! My father has a SOG "Daggert" that he seems quite pleased with. I've not had a chance to play with it much, but it seems like a solid little knife.

Wow a purple Glock and a Grail in one pic. Congrads on finding that dagger in such good condition!

Im having a hard time putting it down.... also.... All purple everything....

Had one of those and a Gerber BMF that my asshole brother stole and sold after they became collectable.

Sometimes.....

I've had 3 knives stolen. Only 1 by someone I wasn't related to.

*grumbles*

The only one I'm still sore about is the BMF. My dad gave that to me when I started hunting. It's a large part of why I don't talk to him anymore.

Finding a grail that you still like...even two months later is really a feat.
I'm happy for you.

That is a cool looking knife. Pretty sure it's completely illegal here in California, but if I lived in some sort of post-apocalyptic hellscape, I'd want that knife too.

Contratulations on your Desert Dagger. A perfect example of the saying "they don't make'em like they use to".
