Not exactly a rare find, but have been having trouble finding one at my buy point, they all seem to bring more than a 110.Spent the morning at a local gun show, found an earlier one(Idaho outline for date code), very gently used for $25. Seller had several Bucks in the case but that one was the only one that filled a hole in my collection. didn't bother taking a picture, semi common knife and all, but it made my morning.

Congratulations!
My first ever knife was chinese fake 110, I was a little boy and knew nothing about knives. Many years later I got fond of knives and tools but never had any Buck. Buck 110 got illegal for everyday carry in my country, 112 was too heavy for me. This year I found information about The 55, I was really excited to get hands on it. Several days ago I received a parcel at my local post office from Missouri, great knife. So I wait passionately for New Year to start using it.

It's a handy little knife. Perfect size to disappear in your front pocket and it locks for safer use. The 55 :thumbsup:

Wonderful thin, small, classy-looking knife. I eventually scored a 501 for a low price and it has displaced the 55 to some extent. But a great knife.

I usually go with a 501 over the 55 as well, but it's an awesome little knife. Looks cool and is incredibly useful for a smaller blade. I'm still amazed at the fit and finish on the one I have. Very well done...
